Our Team

  • Justin Soares, co-founder

Justin was diagnosed with ALS at 36 years old. He has learned first hand how difficult ALS is on both patient and family. It's Justin that drives us forward to make a meaningful impact on the ALS community. Prior to his diagnosis, Justin enjoyed traveling with his wife Meghan, being on their boat, and golfing. He is a proud girl dad to Maddi, has a goofy golden retriever named Teak and an awesome cat named Dolly (after Dolly Parton). Justin holds a B.S. in Accounting from UMass, a MBA from Suffolk University, and is a CPA (inactive). Justin was a Partner at PwC in Boston prior to his diagnosis.

  • Meghan Soares, co-founder

Meghan is Justin's wife and, since his diagnosis, she has been his primary caregiver. She's had learn to adapt to being a new mom to Maddi while navigating Justin's ever changing medical needs and care. She knows ALS inside and out and is optimistic about the ALS research being conducted at Duke. Prior to Justin's diagnosis, Meghan enjoyed traveling, days on the water, ice cream, long walks with Teak, and painting. Meghan earned her bachelor’s at UMass and is a SPHR (inactive). Meghan was an Analyst at CME Group prior to Justin's diagnosis.

  • Maddi Soares, Chief Morale Officer

Maddi has been on the Red Right Return, Inc. team since day one. Despite the difficulties her dad faces, Maddi is committed to making every event fun filled. She wants to thank everyone for helping all the daddies with ALS who need help and hope.
